In what may be the biggest fertilizer scam involving three cabinet ministers? grand plan to smuggle twenty thousand metric tons of chemical fertilizer from India has received a big jolt after the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) intervened it Tuesday, Kantipur daily reported today. The trucks were ferrying the smuggled fertilizer from India according to the contrivance hatched by three cabinet ministers including Agriculture Minister Badri Prasad Mandal, Home Minister Dan Bahadur Shahi and Finance Minister Madhukar Shumsher Rana and fertilizer businessman, Gyanendra Shrestha. ------------------------------------------------ I suspect as it might be the grand plan of King himself as we all know he is a real business man with smuggling experience. Otherwise, anyone will be surprised to see three cabinet ministers on grand design of such a scam in present situation.

As the buck stops with the King (since he is no longer just a constitutional monarch but the CEO of Nepal, Inc.), obviously the blame ultimately falls on Gyanendra Shah. ========== As we all know from the Oklahoma Bombing incident, fertilizers can be used to make bombs. With that in mind, one definitely wonders for what nefarious purpose is such large amount of fertilizer being smuggled in. ========== On a different note, Kul Chandra Gautam who is senior official with the United Nations bluntly said that if King Gyanendra had headed the Nepali delegation, he would not have received much respect. I wonder if Tony Blair, George Bush, Condoleeza Rice and other world leaders really said that they would not touch Gyanendra with ten foot pole, let alone have a one on one tete-a-tete with him. Shows how much King G's credibility has dropped. ========== Pashupati Nath le hami sabai ko rakshya garoon, especially when our country is being run by criminals.

In Nepal, 95% cultivation are done and depand on sky rain and monson rain. Farmers are hardly just live for GAS BAS. End of the year, they do not even have seed for next cultivation. They sink deep and deep by loans. But these crooks and criminals earn un-expected kharod Rupees for doing nothing with easy and fast corruption. Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) or maoist must kill or hang them. It is for good for all.
