Greetings my fellow Nautankis, Sajhaites and any one else reading!

Have been terribly busy and I have some news to share. My company just acquired a competitor - a big time strategic acquisition that is likely to position us as the preeminent player in our space. I am part of a large team involved with managing one - nonetheless significant - aspect of the merger. My boss has told me to get ready for some travel and I expect I will not be able to check in with all you wonderful people as often as I would like.

This is a great opportunity for me career wise - it would prolly be accurate to call it the biggest undertaking of my career so far. Many of the people I work with would have killed to get involved with something like this. This is an exciting opportunity but at the same time places tremendous responsibilities on my shoulders and could very well spell the end of my active life on Sajha.

I will try to check in whenever I can because I know I will miss so many of you folks. My email address is always available via Sajha if anyone needs it.

I have always wanted to leave quietly but because of all the good friends I have made here I feel compelled to disclose this. It would be wrong to leave without saying goodbye. That is the least I can do for the wonderful moments you have shared with me.

Best wishes to each one of you on this thread. Will miss you all - esp the veterans of Nautankiland SNDY, Loote, Hi Nanu, Cleo, Tamang Lady, Flips, Lemony, NPL2US, Juggy, Thapap, Jack Sparrow - did I miss anyone? Apologies if I did. Not to mention the other folks on Sajha who have not participated on this thread or dropped in recently or on a few occasions (Gundruk ko jhol, shirish, Aznsahwty, Audrey, Sandhurst, Bathroom Coffee - I am going to stop there otherwise I could be here all evening ... )

If I have rubbed anyone the wrong way, I hope you will find it in you to forgive and forget.

My all the best to you. You have to do what you've got to do. If real life demands more time and seriousness from one's part, virtual life should take the back seat. I am guessing, no matter how busy one is, it's quite a necessity for him/her to be in front of the PC/laptop hooked on to the internet, hoina? :D. If possible, do drop in once in a while to make this place a better one to live in for other visitors.

SNDY - Thanks for the wishes. I don't think I have much of a choice. My schedule now gets intense with travel and extra work . I don't think I can stay away from browsing Sajha altogether but I don't expect I will either get the time or be in the right frame of mind to post actively. I was in between initiatives over the last few months which allowed me to participate actively on Sajha. My work is by nature extremely demanding and unforgiving - which suits me well for the most part except now I guess when it is so hard to share this with you and the rest of our "brigade".

So I expect to still peek in every now and then when I can but don't expect I can contribute much.

And let me say this: will miss your Nautanki spirit the most! :)

I may be tempted to email you and some of the folks on this thread - reply if you guys feel like otherwise will hopefully see you back here in a few months.
