Hello fellow Bansthalians,

Those banasthalians living in North America and planning to travel to Dallas for ANA Convention, lets gather from 5-7 pm on Saturday July 2nd. Anjan-cha (1985) is one of the host/organizers in Dallas has reserved a space for us. His telephone number is 972-740-2934 and email anjancha@hotmail.com. Alternatively, you can contact "pokharathok" at prnepal@hotmail.com, or 202-368-6657. Pls come with ideas, how we can make this gathering to something useful to all Banasthalians and others in future.

Cheers !

Born in Pokharathok, Palpa

Guys,
This is Pradeep Paudyal from 92 batch. Yes, kalankisthan, it was down for about 6 months or so as I couldn't make due arrangements for hosting before I left for Nepal. I was hosting it from my own computer in my apartment when I was in the US as that was the cheapest option for me.

Raute, I do not work for US embassy. I was working for a company called D2HawkeyeServices and quit a month and half back. I will be going to Barcelona to do my MBA in IESE Business School in a couple of months. The site will continue to work as it is now hosted from a company in the US and the hosting expenses are manageable for now.

regards
Pradeep

wow! Vanasthali still standing strong. Any 95's here?? Please get back to Zara if anyone knows Deepak, Sagun (singer), Niraj (Kale), and Dhiraj Baral (Dhiru). THey threw a Vanasthali Reunion party back in 97/98 at HimThai Restaurant, Lazimpat. I was one of the 150 proud Vanasthalians who was really happy to be there. Great Thai food, full scale bar, great live Band, Dj. I met vanasthalians from batch '85 to '96.
Halla back!

NBCA
How dare you call me a thief?? Do I even know you????

I think what kalankistan said about the history of SVMV is true, there were 2 schools which merged into one. Rajbanshi was in Anandakuti, he had a disagreement there and he brought the campus from there to Vanasthali, since then he has started to takeover the whole school slowly.
I stayed in Pant SIr's hostel in Baneswor for a year, he opened Manjushree Boarding school and Keshablal sir opend GyanUdyan in Balaju.

As for you AARTI, we are from the same batch I think, give me a holla, I will be in Dallas for the convention, Anjan bro was in DC for the semi reunion last month. Dallas should be successful.

SEE YOU ALL THERE.

Hello guyzzzz,

Reading these threads take us all back to those glory days.
Its funny how we all had shared similar experiences at one time or another during our lives in Vanasthali.

BTW, I am from '87 batch- the batch which produced record 9 boards in the SLC. It has been that many years already??? Damn! Can't believe it but the vanasthali spirit still is young at heart.

Sorry- I won't be coming to Dallas. I know it sucks. Oh! well. Have lots of fun guys and let us know how the reunion went.

Vanastalians rock and long live the gagalulu gang.

Ciao

Sorry, I meant to add it to this thread.

I guess I'm too late to participate in these threads..... Lets keep these alive, keep coming.... I remember the days when we used to shoot Lolas from the balcony of Pragya bhawan and hide. One time, we accidentally hit "Kukhura" and wow that was almost the end of life.....
Anyone remebers the days of 2046 Jana-Andolan, without knowing much we were throwing stones at the police and then suddenly army truck came down and en-circled the school. Those tear gases affect reminds me like it was yesterday!
Who remembers the fight with AVM?
Oh, how could any vanasthalians not remember "aas-paas". He caught me one day riding the school bus as I used to use other means of transporation to school and was called in his office by a "Pale" during one of the class. Oh my goodness, I had to make so many stories to get away...! Also, he used to know me by my last name, so whereever he met me, he use to yell at me for no reason.
Good old Vanasthali days, wish I could go back and enjoy those days again.

Intermediate of science!!!huh....so much for the apron-dreams inside an operation theatre.
Thanks they were only limited to "Gandayulas"and "Bhyagutas"of the zoology lab.
(disgusting)
*Udayo sapana sabai hurricane lay*
Any vanasthali campuseans here?
