Hello Guys:

First off all, thank you all for your active participation. For the playoffs, here's how I will tally the points. 4 points for each correct prediction, -1 for each incorrect prediction. I will keep a running Tally of points until the Superbowl, and then declare our SFL PLAYOFFS FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR, much like Playoffs MVP (we already had our regular season MVP, aka SFL Footballer of the Year - DELICATE).

Let me know if you guys have better suggestions.

Here's where we all stand. Great week for some, and miserable for few like myself, who got burnt on the upset picks......

KC bro,

Nice! But how about the points system? I think there should be more and more points as the predictor predicts each week with the correct Super Bowl prediction having the most points. Otherwise, I don't think there's no fun. It's playoffs. It should be either do or die. :)

Delicate Bro:
I kinda like your idea. Could you elaborate a little more on how to work the points your way....You are right....I think for Divisional Match-ups,it might be fun to have 50% negative markings for each incorrect predictions, 3/4 negative markings for Conference finals , and 1-1 negative markings for incorrect predictions for the Super bowl, and Tally all the points at the end....

Guys, let me know if the above point system makes any sense. Appreciate the response in advance.

I like Hetterika's idea.....

I will wait for few more inputs.....or until this weekend, and will update the scores next week....Appreciate Delicate for bringing it up, and Hetterika for devising a formula !

SadbutTrue: --- I believed in you, but see, how the Cowboys let us down.....dare I say, once again......But I think, If Tuna Sticks around, with Tony Romo, Cowboys will be in the Superbowl in a year or two......

Okay!! I somehow missed the wildcard weekend prediction. But looks like I will not be that far from the commissioner and BHU PU commissioner, even if I start it today ;-).... So here's my prediction.

Jan 13, 2007
(4:30 ET CBS) Indianapolis at Baltimore -------> Indianapolis Colts
(8:00 ET FOX) Philadelphia New Orleans -----> New Orleans Saints

Jan 14, 2007
(1:00 ET FOX) Seattle at Chicago --------------> Chicago Bears
(4:30 ET CBS) New England at San Diego ----> New England Pats

Go who??? I don't know!!

Wanna see good and close competition now!! unlike pats vs jets

:-)

Tuna is likely to take General Manager position with Giants.

All the pregame shows were calling a close game between Jets and Patriots.

Did you guys notice how Belachick shoved a photographer to go and hug his protege Mangini?

Jan 13, 2007
(4:30 ET CBS) Indianapolis at Baltimore -------> it's gonna be a close game but Indy will pull it off.
(8:00 ET FOX) Philadelphia New Orleans -----> Eagles

Jan 14, 2007
(1:00 ET FOX) Seattle at Chicago --------------> sea hawks, bears offense aint that good.
(4:30 ET CBS) New England at San Diego ----> Brady is good at making short passes if their running game does not work. if they stop LT and pressurize Rivers 2 to 3 turnovers in the game is sure. it might turnout to be one sided game. Go pats one more time!
