It is hard to find project if you go for manual QA, or BA. If you are targeting programming like JAVA, .NET , it takes less time but depends on how quickly you can learn and crack interview. Much of it will depend on luck as well but getting job from consultancy is getting harder as vendors are more aware of proxy interviews in phone and skype.

Best of luck. Do not go for manual QA training, either do automated QA training since current marekt is shifting from manual QA to developer/QA where you need to know programming as well.

Manual QA will be obsolete soon and with influx of all desi house wifves in this field, it is really hard to find job .
