Hi all,
I am planning to pursue PHD in Organic Chemisry or Biomedical Science. After PHD I want to work in industry, however, I could not conclude which one has better industry opportunities. If any of you are familair or experienced in this area your input would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!

Organic chemistry has wider prospects if you really want to work in the industry. The field of organic chemistry is broad in itself so you want to concentrate on very specific topic. Organic chemistry includes the study of important constituents of many products including plastics, drugs, petrochemicals, food, explosives, and paints. Another important field to consider inside O C would be polymer, nano molecules. Hope that helps.
