Unfortunately, we live in a world of double standards. I don't necessarily approve raising an arm against a girl but the issue that's been raised is pretty valid. I play in a co-ed league and more often than not, women get away with nasty tackles, rash challenges etc. In fact, when a girl kicks a guy, even if the intent was clear, people just laugh. When a guy retreats, it becomes an issue.
On a different note, I felt sorry for the girl. Is that weird?
