"1.) Well let's make a deal :) because it is a loose/loose situation for you. Let's make a win/win situation for you :). Find a project(doesn't matter big or small) and once you get a project then ask your employer that current client wants to hire you. They will say "NO" first . Then tell them that you can give them some money like $1000 and let you join the client otherwise tell them that you have to join another project and other project is already in your hand and you have to switch the employer. Well they can't say No to free $1000 :). This is just my 2 cents and it worked for me. You are a GC holder man try to use it on your behalf. Sky is your limit
2.) I don't think client will conduct background check. You can ask them like "What are the hiring process and paper works? Does that include background/criminal/reference check? In my case, they didn't
3.) To be frank, Most of the client knows that all the things which you put in your resume are not true so they don't care and don't go into details. They just want to hire you because of your work. Think in this way, why do they want to play a game with new guy who they have never worked with rather than hiring a person (you) who they already know and saw you actually doing good job."

Sajhamitra, that was your reply in an old thread ( http://sajha.com/sajha/html/index.cfm?threadid=102228 ) about whether an IT worker could accept a temp to permanent job offer. (pasted it before you could edit that post)
So my question is, are you just a hypocrite or are you bipolar as well? Because I'm really having a hard time comprehending your post on this thread.

riddle, let me make you clear. I am not against any indian consulting companies and I appreciate you spent your incredibly valuable time digging my old post and finding my reply. The guy in that thread was asking how he can join the end client. It never said any fake interviews and I know how difficult for the fresh graduates to find a job. The guy was just confused and I tried to help him. Not all IT consulting companies are bad. Infact without IT consulting companies this whole IT industry will just collapse. But I am strictly against the OP who openly offering for fake interview. That is just Wrong in all angle. I don't care if the candidate is showing fake resume or original resume as long as the candidate studied hard, nailed the interview on his/her own. If you can't nail your own interview then how can you perform the work? Fake interviews are not good for candidates also as they did not studied hard enough to crack interview. So do not waste your invaluable time for judging me whether I am bipolar or hypocrite.

My point still stands, though. I found it hypocritical that you'd question "fake interviews", yet you're employed 'unethically' yourself. Why does it really matter whether someone who got a job by using proxy interviews can perform or not. That question is as pointless as somebody asking if someone can hang onto his/her job that one got by using fake resumes. To each their own.
