You should not have any problem getting a green card ......just make sure you disclose all the information before your interview.

depends on the charges. they can give u misdemeanor to felony while selling alcohol to minors. if it is felony then it can get tough to get the green card.

The final verdict on the case was attempt to sell alcohol to minor and this falls into mideameanor class C. So the verdict is very minor my main concern is if they will ask about how I was working in gas station when I was in student visa and deny my GC saying I worked illegally.

Obviously, this is a complex case, and as such - if you haven't already got one - get a god immigration attorney. Rest the attorney will handle, including how to proceed if this any issue related to this comes up.

i am in a similar situation and would like to know what happens in ur case. Mine is slightly different, it was supplying alcohol to minor, at a party. It was a gross misdeminor. My record was expunged years ago. However they had taken my finger print, and that showed up during my H1b process at the embassy in nepal. And now i am doing eb2, waiting on i485. Lawyer said, for immigration purposes, these cases never go away, even if its sealed or expunged. disclosed everything during my application. fingers crossed.

Hi immabee, I am applying from EB3 so hoping to be current next visa bulletin. For your case you should be fine since serving alcohol to minor is not a big case for USCIS specially since it doesnt falls into Crime of Moral Turpitude and yes you are correct we need to disclose everything even the case has been expunged. For me since it happened while working in gas station when I was in F1 status it will be little hard if they question about my working status at that time. I have consultation set up with an immigration attorney next week lets see what he will say about it. He is charging 600 for consultation only :s I hope I will get some way out. Good luck to you!
