Any update on new constitution and has law been formed ? dual citizenship good news anyone have just like news on ekantipur or media.

Just wondering if anything happening with regards to the dual citizenship provision in Nepal after new president was appointed.

its literally going nowhere because of K. P sharma oli , soon the bill will expire and the government has to reintroduce the bill in parliament . Prachanda and sher bahadur did their best to pass this bill but the devil K. P stopped it . seems bipartisan approval will pass it within 6 months and it will take another 6 month to enforce .

Do u think Nepal would allow something equivalent to dual citizenship one day? People in Nepal, including leaders are jealous types. They think Nepali living abroad, except for their sons and daughters (hypocricts)are traitors.

dual citizenship act largely favors india , so its an indian agenda . 2.5 millions indian have nepali citizenship which is 10% of nepali population . this population can manipulate the election and other political outcome the way they want so this , backed up by indian this will definitely pass .

investors will jump to invest in Nepal so definitely helps in Nepali economy but still hard to take out money from nepal , so favours nepal as well

Edv if that's the case wouldn't dual ctzp be passed 15 or 20 yrs ago? Indian doesnt want dual ctzp to pass but wants natrulizatuon to happen asap for indians who marry Nepali. This way 70 -80 lakhs Nepali descends would be out of country with no Nepali ctzp and there would be influx of new natrulized ctzp from India. This way india would take over Nepal by voting easily.

they definitely wanted naturalization for the indian to marry nepali to happen and tried their best but this could not happen , nobody supported this bill inside Nepal so they are settling in this dual citizenship bill .

because most Nefolis support dual citizenship bill,so will be easier to pass. Now , form my source , i got to know , our beloved prime minister shree pushpa kamal dahal is re-introducing this bill to presidents office and the president will pass this bill with in days , they will bypass the parliamentarian discussion and hearing where kepai oli will again obstruct the bill to pass .

let the Bhutanese case settle, then the prime minister and president will take care of this bill .

How good is ur source bro? I know u dont wanna expose and all but pretty reliable i hope? People here dont realize but in Nepal after rabi's case all crooks are after Nrns. I just made a trip home and back. I was aksed if i had foreign ctzp everytime and that was cuz they thought they could just steal my land and properties. Had to consult with few lawyers etc.. it's crazy back home.good thing is several nrna layers confirmed that once we apply nrna card inheritence and aputali can be kept as par with other Nepali ctns.
