My personal experience it is a big favor. Whenever my relatives go Nepal I always carry a backpack with me in case they have to take out stuff due over weight(they always weigh luggage at home). Some time the personnel at the counter do not consider even a pound.
My distance cousin took wrapped paper off from the package ( to have less weight or checking something else inside it).
Vitamin with 500 tabs will be over a pound.

Also most multivitamins are same either India made or here...

It c ould be some other type of pills. rethink before you volunteer.
