well I have permanent residence and want to know the way to get maximu refunds

What is your filing status, do you have children? , did you go to school and is it a degree ? do you own a house, did you buy a house and pay mortgage, did you buy and sell stock?Did you donate? Do you have 1098 and 1099 forms?
If you are married and filing joint  and have children may get more refund due to child tax credit $1000 each, if you and your spouse had in degree school in 2009 tax year , you may get education credit up to 2500 each, if you had house your tax liability will go down due to mortgage interest, real estate tax and your state income tax withheld may lead to getting more refund, If you bought stock and sale in loss , may decrease you tax liability will lead to more tax refund.

What is your situation , if you explain then we may lead from there and suggest according to you need. Do not go to any tax services because you want to get more refund because some of your friend got over 7000 refund. Yes, people may get over 9000 dollars refund and you want the same refund? . Does his/her situation and your situations match closely? If the answer is  No, then you would be getting any money closer to him/her. If you are single may be not getting more than 4500 unless you were a student and illegible for the new educational credit had more than 2500 tuition fee and you have enough federal tax withheld for the tax year 2009.

Try to figure out how much you will be getting , if you can log on sajha , I think you can do your own tax in internet. I like to use TAXACT.com which is cheaper, but suggest to cross check
