Dear Sajha Users,

I sold Beer to minor today and got yellow ticket.I had asked ID and he showed 1993 id but mistakely i veryfied the date with cigarettee 
for which it was good.Now my question is what will be further action to me? Is there any way to reduce fine and other possible action?
I live in texas and i could not afford for attroney.
I woud apprecite for your helpful suggestions.

Hiring an attorney would be a lifesaver....being deported to Nepal is the worst thing they would do coz DHS and TABC have a strong connection...An attorney might charge you 1200 or 1500 bucks.....but if they deport you will be dwelling lifetime...this response is not to let ur morale down but to show u the right path and to consolidate u...good luck

 dont worry bro my fren got ticket too....sellin beer to minor ... all u gotta do is appear on court n pay the fine... even if u cant pay the full amount they will provide u time....dont worry about people trying to scare you....i got out of DUI without an attorney i hope u know what i mean...

If you appear in court, don't they ask if your working on your ssn? Further trouble?

I got into a similar situation last month. Best and only way to get away with this is to get a good attorney. I know few attorney, you can contact me for the contact information. I live in clear lake area too.If you do not get attorney and proved guilty, there is a chance of deprotation. Attorney fee will be around 1000-1500.
