Could you plese let me know what kind of letters and documents should i prepare and take it with me from here in US, for interview in American Embassy in Kathmandu for VISA in H1B category? Thank you for the help.
As I understand you are in H1B and visiting Nepal.
You may want to take couple of your recent paystubs, employment letter, all previous immigration documents, and recent tax return.
Does anybody know how long does it take for H1B returnee to get appointment to embassy in Nepal. Two years ago was like couple of days. Anybody been recently?
Thank you all you wonderful people for helping me get prepared. I will definately share my experience after i come back. In the mean time i would like to thank you all with this video i just watched (very funny):
Pokari - I submitted my application on Oct 21 and got interview date on Oct 23. However, Oct 22 was holiday. I would say just couple of days after you submit your application.
Please let me know if you have any specific questions.
My office has not applied for LCA and I129 yet (I797 follows the I129 so not to even talk bout it now)I got my H1B approval and its number on May of 2009. Do i still nedd LCA and I129 when i go to Nepal and face the interview in US embassy??
